Things that are not subject to learning with Notion AI

• Callouts (annotations)
  • AI read it as just markdown format. Understands the text itself, but not the structure or meaning of callout.
• Sync blocks
  • Does not understand on which specific page the sync block exists. The information passed to AI is just a link to block.
• Inline databases
  • Does not understand on which page the inline database exists. The information passed to the AI is link to database.
• Database Linked Views
• If the page title is a mention (link), the content of the page may not be recognized as linked information
• Images
  • Notion AI can’t do OCR.
• Embeds (PDF, Google doc, Powerpoint etc)

Data types not learned in Notion AI
