Holidays

Parental/Family Leave
Notion offers new parents parental leave with 100% pay to spend with family! Biological, adoptive, and foster parents are all eligible for parental leave.
- Birthing parents: 3 months
- required to take 8 weeks of leave after birth
- Non birthing parents: 6 weeks
Sick Days
If you're sick, don't come to work. Stay home, get better (and don't get others sick!)
- There is no limit to sick days.
- Log your sick days in Rippling.
- Update your Slack status so people who might need your help know.
- Partner with your manager and others to coordinate the days you'll be out
Paid Time Off (PTO)
We want people to take time off to rest and rejuvenate. Also, we don't want people to worry too much about the exact number of days they're taking off. Notion offers flexible paid vacation as well as 10+ observed holidays.

Compassionate Leave
- We believe employees should have access to paid time off for pivotal life events that may fall outside of traditional leaves. Full-time employees can take up to 10 days of paid leave in a rolling 6-month period for any of these qualifying leave reasons:

Employees receive 11,600 JPY monthly stipend to go towards transportation costs.
Phone Stipend
Employees receive 5,500 JPY monthly stipend to go towards monthly data & phone usage.
