Who is a loommate?

• Your values encapsulated in a single sentence that describes an employee of the company

Starting with behaviors

• A series of questions and short paragraphs that talk about the approach the company has taken to creating these values.

• This section is meant to provide the reader (aka the employees) a better understanding and context for how to interpret, understand, and utilize these values in their work.

• Include a video from the CEO/founders that provides an overview of this page and the values so that people can watch it asynchronously!

New cultural values

• This section is optional, but often in the course of a company’s journey there are a few points along the way where it becomes clear that it’s time to refresh (or overhaul) the values to better reflect how the company has grown as well as other internal/external factors. This section is a spot to talk about WHY those changes have been made and also to layout the format for the rest of the document — again, aimed at helping the reader (the employee) understand how to interpret and use this document.
