These API Developer Access and Participation Terms ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our application programming interfaces ("APIs"), developer portal, and related tools and documentation (collectively, the "Developer Platform"). By accessing or using our Developer Platform, you are agreeing to these Terms.
To access and use our Developer Platform, you may need to create a developer account. You are responsible for the information you provide in connection with your developer account and for all activities that occur under your account.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use our Developer Platform for the sole purpose of developing, testing, and supporting your application.
You may use the APIs only as permitted in these Terms and the documentation. You may not use the APIs in a manner that exceeds reasonable request volume, constitutes excessive or abusive usage, or otherwise fails to comply with or is inconsistent with any part of the documentation.
You agree to comply with all applicable privacy laws and regulations including those relating to the collection, use, and disclosure of data. You must also secure and protect data accessed via the API in accordance with all applicable laws and best industry practices.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the API (excluding any open source software components), including all intellectual property rights, belong to us or our licensors. Except for the express licenses granted in these Terms, we do not grant you any right, title, or interest in any intellectual property rights.
We may change, deprecate, or republish APIs for any reason. It is your responsibility to ensure that calls or requests made to the API are compatible with then-current APIs. We will try to inform you of any changes with reasonable notice so you can adjust your application.
We may terminate these Terms and/or suspend or terminate your access to the API for any reason at any time. Upon termination of these Terms, you must discontinue all use of the Developer Platform.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to any third party claim concerning your use of the Developer Platform.
