We are so excited to welcome another cohort of early career folks to Notion! We’ve crafted an early career specific interview process to showcase your strengths, as well as give you a better sense of the technical challenges we solve here at Notion.
We know that mentorship is incredibly important at this stage in your career. Upon joining, we’ll make sure you’re paired with a senior mentor/buddy that can work with you to develop your skills and amplify your impact.

While we are big fans of AI and the potential it unlocks, we kindly ask you refrain from using tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or agentic coding tools or similar to generate code during the interview as we care deeply about ensuring a consistent and fair experience for all. AI Overview answers from Google are fine to use when looking up questions or documentation.

The first step of our process is an online assessment through CodeSignal. You’ll be prompted to log in and complete a General Coding Assessment that contains four problems.
